Zezhen Pan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at Fudan University. Prior to returning to Fudan, she was a postdoc fellow in the Environmental Microbiology Lab at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, under the mentorship of Prof. Rizlan Bernier Latmani. She received a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from Beijing Normal Univeristy in 2013, and a Ph.D. degree in Energy, Environmental and Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 2017.
She is interested in diverse aspects of aquatic geochemical processes, with a particular interest in radionuclide geochemistry and their isotopic fractionation, and in soil organic matter.
