Mineral–microbe–organic matter interactions
矿物—微生物—有机质相互作用
Fudan University · Environmental Science & Engineering
We study how interactions among minerals, microorganisms and organic matter regulate carbon persistence, redox processes and contaminant fate.

Our point of departure
Our environmental-biogeochemistry program combines interfacial chemistry and spectroscopy, microbial ecology, long-term field experiments, evidence synthesis and modeling to connect molecular mechanisms with ecosystem and Earth-system change.
Research highlights
Across soil carbon, mineral–microbe processes and contaminant fate, we build evidence from controlled experiments, long-term records and spatial synthesis.
矿物—碳—污染物界面
We resolve how iron, manganese and sulfur mineral transformations regulate carbon retention, electron transfer and contaminant stability.
气候与土地利用变化下的土壤碳
We connect long-term field experiments, ecological-restoration chronosequences and global synthesis to study soil-carbon stocks and persistence-related indicators.
新污染物环境过程
We trace the formation, transport, transformation and risk of halogenated organics, microplastics and other emerging contaminants.
People
Our team connects environmental biogeochemistry, microbial ecology, spectroscopy, long-term field observation, evidence synthesis and spatial modeling.
